My learning experience in the subject e-portfolio.

Through undertaking the subject e-portfolio, I have had the ability to create an e-portfolio that documents and records my learning both at UTS and in other areas of interest to me. The focus of this subject was around the making of this e-portfolio to be a digital story or documentation of my learning journey.

I have categorised the learning I experienced in this subject, into two categories: Firstly, I learnt practical computer skills which involved familiarising myself with e-portfolio and weblog software, and secondly I learnt theoretical facts about weblogs, e-portfolios, copywrite laws, and credibility.

In my e-portfolio I have been able to not only document my academic progress at uni, but also my artistic progression in other interest areas, including: art, dance and music. Through creating an e-portfolio I am now able to keep record of my progress and each time I visit my e-portfolio I will be able to reflect on where I have come from, what I have achieved, as well as being able to update documentation of current achievements.

Therefore my e-portfolio will be a way of communicating and relaying current and previous information about my learning progress, to audiences beyond my own network. People all around the world will be able to access my information, which could even be a way of publicising myself for future employment prospects.

Initial Profile

As a student at UTS I am enrolled in a course in Human Resources - B.Arts in Organisational Learning combined with International Studies. Currently I am undertaking a subject called e-portfolio, where I am learning about what is involved in creating and publishing an online documentation of my learning. This is my initial attempt at beginning to document my learning activities, and I hope to continue developing this online space in the future.
