Our last class....

Our eportfolio journey has come to an end. On top of finalising various parts of my e-portfolio, we also gathered in groups to discuss what we have learnt this semester.

My group, consisting of Carmelita, Lucy, Anna, Tess and myself, decided that we have developed our computer skills. Especially those of us, such as myself, who have never used a mac computer. It has been an ...interesting experience of learning new commands and such. For example, converting a word document into HTML format.

But in the end, after all the highs and lows of creating an eportfolio, we have all thoroughly enjoyed the subject. Our lecturer, Ellen, has been very accomodating and aided us in any areas that we have needed assistance with.

From our experiences within E-portfolio we have also learnt not to mix two separate programs. Such as attempting to add a myspace background into the digital dialogues setting.

I believe the most beneficial lesson we have learnt is that an eportfolio is a digital representation of ourselves, and people form opinions about us based on what they see in cyberspace. We have learnt that we must analyse any document we add to our eportfolio, as everything gives a certain impression, whether you intend it to or not.
