Weblog for Work and People
Work and People was another difficult subject for the BAOL degree. This subject was the study of work trends in Australia.
The first assessment was an essay based on the occupation of your choice. The second assessment was an exam with two essays. The subject has no real application for industry, but gives background knowledge of the reasons why work trends exists (e.g. the current industrial reform). Even the lecturer remarked a few times that we probably won’t remember much from this subject.
However, this was the first subject that had the first assessment due since I commenced my Bachelor of Arts in Organisational Learning. While completing the first assessment, I began to remember how to write an essay, since I had worked throughout the previous two years. Through this assignment, I learnt how to reference and form an argument in an essay.
